Spice up a fluffy angel food cake with this fresh pear salsa. Makes for a great summer dessert!
- Orange Angel Food Cake
 - 1 box angel food cake mix
 - 1 ¼ cups orange juice
 - Spicy Pear Salsa
 - 3 cups USA Pears, cored and cubed
 - 1 ½ cups strawberries, halved
 - 1 ½ cups mango, peeled and cubed
 - ¾ cup orange juice
 - ¼ cup packed brown sugar
 - ¼ teaspoon curry powder
 - ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
 
Prepare and bake angel food cake as directed on package, substituting orange juice for water. Invert and cool completely.
Place pears, strawberries, and mangoes in a large bowl. Whisk orange juice, brown sugar, curry powder, and black pepper until blended. Pour over fruit and mix until blended. Serve 1 slice angel food cake with ½ cup salsa.
