It’s pear harvest time on my parent’s farm. I can’t get enough of these, fresh from the tree, Bartlett pears. The mezcal creates a bit of a contrast between the brightness of the pears and the rich smokiness of the mezcal, each balancing the other out into a delicate and complex cocktail with just a hint of spice.
